5 countries you can travel to right now from Singapore

With the new announcements following a speech by PM Lee on 24 March 2022, it looks like life is inching back to normal. From the extension of F&B's operating hours to the lifting of VTL restrictions for the vaccinated, Singapore is ready to welcome the world.

It looks like sentiments are quite similar overseas, with countries opening up and doing away with quarantine and compulsory testings on arrival. A couple of countries have even removed any restrictions for the vaccinated completely. The tourism industry is set for pickup, and it's no surprise that prices of flight tickets are already increasing as we speak.

If you're thinking of travelling from Singapore, we've shortlisted five countries that are slightly easier to plan a leisure trip to.

Denmark

Even though Denmark has fallen to position two on the World's Happiest Countries index, it's still the tranquil, modern, and peaceful country in a fairytale setting. Better still if you're a museum and art enthusiast – the country provides plenty of options for creatives.

Good news for fully vaccinated international travellers: you are no longer required to take a test or serve quarantine to enter the country. All you need is documented proof of a full vaccination taken within 270 days for a two-dose vaccine, or 284 days for a single-dose vaccine, or proof that you have been revaccinated with the third dose. Additionally, travellers who can prove that their past infection occurred more than 11 days but within 180 days will receive the same courtesy.
