Julia Roberts has been in the entertainment industry since the late '80s and, frankly, has looked near-flawless ever since. Throughout all her much-loved roles - from Pretty Woman to Eat, Pray, Love and beyond - she's made us wonder exactly what she does to keep looking so radiant. As a brand ambassador, she has been vocal about her love for Lancôme products, but she does have a few other tips for achieving her youthful complexion. Learn them all, ahead.

1/ She never skips sunscreen

Julia's Instagram is littered with photos of her and her children having #funinthesun. In 2017, she told People: "As a responsible parent with three kids who love to be outdoors I rely totally on a good sunblock." She chooses Shade's SPF 30 for more active days as it "keeps working no matter how sweaty or how much time we spend in the water! It’s magical".

2/ She always goes to bed with a clean face

Roberts is a firm believer in taking off her make-up before bed. She told Viva that Lancôme's Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover is one of her favourites. "A lot of times you take off your eye make-up at night, and the next morning you wake up and look like you already put makeup on! But this formula gets rid of every stitch of make-up." As a long-time Lancôme ambassador, it is definitely no surprise to see this in her skincare routine.

3/ She doesn't forget hydration

The mum of three is all about feeling "hydrated and fresh," she told Allure. But her face isn't her only focus of hydration — she also gives her hands and feet some TLC. "My hands get very dry from washing a lot of dishes" she said, and one of her go-tos is Absolute Hand.

"It's like butter—so hydrating and restorative," she told Hollywood Life. A natural remedy she is also said to use is extra virgin olive oil on her face and hair. Vogue Italia reported that she creates an emulsified mixture of extra virgin olive oil with a little warm water and leaves it on like a mask for around half an hour.

4/ She keeps her routine minimal

When Viva asked if her beauty routine was low or high maintenance, she replied: "Low, I could definitely go a little higher." She added, "On a regular day, I’ll just brush my teeth, wash my face, and apply sunblock. I’m a busy mum, and sometimes I just sunblock my kids and run outside and get my nose burned. So I’ve made a stronger effort to take care of myself."

5/ She eats mindfully

It's no secret that diet contributes to skin condition and health, and Julia understands that. She told the Toronto Sun: "We definitely try to eat mindfully. I always say to my kids, ‘You have to eat the good stuff to get the good stuff.'"

However, getting wrapped up in diet can be no joke, so her best advice is, "remain calm, drink your water, get your sleep and be joyful".

6/ She uses light therapy

While Roberts' beauty regime may veer on the more natural side, there is one tech-driven device she's fond of. The star previously posted a picture on her Instagram of her wearing an LED face mask, which emits multi-coloured light from tiny diodes, said to boost repair and collagen production, as well as killing the bacteria linked to acne.
