'60s siren Gina Lollobrigida is still stylish and smiling at 92 years old

Nobody is doing their 90s more fabulously than Gina Lollobrigida.

The eternal siren, who celebrated her 92nd birthday this year, became an international sex symbol by starring in dozens of films in the 1940s, '50s and '60s. Italian-born but quickly welcomed into Hollywood, she would co-star with Frank Sinatra, Humphrey Bogart and Sean Connery as her fame ballooned.

Think at 92 years old Gina would be sitting quietly at home with yarn and knitting needles? Not exactly! In July 2017, she rang in her milestone 90th birthday with a gigantic bash in Rome, where she could have passed for decades younger in a shimmering silver gown.

Just this year, in January 2019, she worked it for the paparazzi in a dramatic scarlet number at a film festival.

It wasn't just her beauty and acting abilities that impressed the world: A renowned photojournalist, Lollobrigida snagged a near-impossible interview with Fidel Castro in the 1970s.

Notably, Lollobrigida has also taken steps to use her wealth and influence for societal good. In 2013, she sold the bulk of her jewelry collection and donated the $5 million in sales to benefit stem cell research.
