This summer is set to see some major on-screen releases, meaning it’s probably a great time to consider how you’ll be watching the newest TV shows, playing the hottest video games or enjoying the latest movies.

Maybe you can’t wait to see the latest films coming to Netflix, like the documentary “Halftime,” which focuses on how Jennifer Lopez prepared for the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show. Perhaps you’re itching to play some upcoming video games, such as the ones that’ll be announced at June’s Xbox and Bethesda showcase. Or maybe you’re excited for the glittering gold and drama that’s on the way with “The Real Housewives of Dubai.”

Either way, this Amazon Omni Series TV might be just what you need to enjoy any of this year’s most anticipated releases without breaking the bank.

Amazon’s 65” Omni Series TV features a true-to-life picture quality on an LED screen that supports 4K Ultra HD. It’s equipped with Fire TV, meaning thousands of apps and streaming services are just a few clicks away. Users can also enjoy a hands-free experience by controlling the TV with voice commands through Alexa.

The TV also features Dolby Digital Plus technology, which offers a sharp audio experience. Multiple layers of privacy protection might also be a plus for some people, where users have the ability to electronically disconnect microphones when desired.

Shoppers love the picture quality

Amazon’s Omni Series televisions are a hit among its shoppers, where nearly 1,500 users rated the product an average of 4.5 stars.

One reviewer claimed navigating the TV is easy and that it’s “nice to have voice commands.” They added that the device is “easy to set up” and features “great colour.”

Someone else who’s “really enjoying the TV” also commented that “the picture quality is awesome," adding that video games on their Xbox Series S “look amazing.”

Another person called it a “great TV for everyday use.” They admitted that it's “impressive visually” and, since they purchased it on sale for $650, that it’s “worth double” for just the 4K picture quality.

But some shoppers weren’t entirely happy with their purchases. One person said they “love the TV” but “hate the remote” since it has no tactile direction and the buttons all feel the same, meaning it’s difficult to use inside a dark room.

A few users claim that operating the television is a hassle since its Fire TV operating system lags, where one person said “it was so slow” they plugged their external Fire TV stick into the device.

Verdict

It’s hard to pass up a deal that’s as good as 40 per cent off a television that’s usually more than $1,000, especially one that has must-have features in today’s technology like 4K picture quality and a smart TV operating system. Overall, Amazon’s 65” Omni Series TV might be a good fit for someone looking for an everyday television to put in their living room, or anyone seeking an upgrade for sharp and colourful details in their viewing experience.
