Past and present national servicemen will receive S$100 in vouchers from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in an NS50 Recognition Package.

The package was launched by Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen on Tuesday (7 Feb). The gift is part of Mindef’s year-long NS50 campaign to commemorate 50 years of national service.

The vouchers can be used at retail and food and beverage outlets.

A dedicated portal – NS50.sg – will provide details about where the vouchers can be used.

Eligible national servicemen must be serving NS as of 1 Jan this year or must have completed their NS.

In addition, those who are serving or have completed their Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS) will get one year of SAFRA or HomeTeamNS membership.
