The idea of the side-hustle is nothing new, we’ve all heard of hard-working individuals juggling two or even three jobs to make ends meet. But something about the Millennial hustle is different.

It involves taking something you love, a hobby or a project and turning it into a money-earner that you can do in addition to your regular job. Many side-hustlers admit to being more focused and productive in their full-time job as a result of the passion and fun they have in their side-gig.

The most important thing when taking on a side-gig is to manage your time. Be sure to leave both jobs at the door and give yourself adequate free time to rest and recover. Find small ways to make yourself more time efficient, such as checking your emails during your commute or brainstorming ideas when you’re in the gym. Set yourself weekly goals and stick to them.
