9-1-1, American Crime Story and Pose to resume filming in October

Ryan Murphy fans, you're in luck – because it looks as though four of his series' are set to resume filming following a halt in production earlier this year.

Along with the rest of the entertainment industry, Ryan Murphy Productions pressed pause on a number of its projects back in March due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Fortunately, things appear to be moving in the right direction once more, with Deadline reporting that 9-1-1, its spin-off 9-1-1-: Lone Star, Pose, and American Crime Story are all scheduled to begin filming again next month.

9-1-1 is expected to begin filming for its fourth season October 5, with Lone Star following closely with a start date of October 12 for its recently-renewed second season.

Pose, starring Emmy nominee Billy Porter, is reported to be picking up season three where it left off on October 7, while the latest instalment of American Crime Story, Impeachment, is set to start shooting on October 13.

Hoping to continue the success of previous anthology entries, Impeachment will focus on the Monica Lewinsky/Bill Clinton sex scandal and the US president's subsequent impeachment trial.

Beanie Feldstein will play the former White House intern Lewinsky, with Clive Owen taking on the role of Bill Clinton.

Ryan Murphy regular Sarah Paulson is set to star as Linda Tripp, a former civil servant who secretly recorded conversations with Lewinsky, while Annaleigh Ashford will play Clinton accuser Paula Jones.

Pose airs on FX in the US. In the UK, seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch on BBC iPlayer. American Crime Story airs on FX in the US and BBC Two in the UK. 9-1-1: Lone Star airs on FOX in the US and Sky Witness in the UK.
