9 Home and Away spoilers for next week

From Digital Spy

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Next week's Home and Away episodes see the Parata family face new challenges without Gemma around, while Jasmine crosses a line which alienates her friends.

Here's a full collection of nine big moments coming up.

1. The Paratas pay tribute to Mikaere

It's a sad time for the Parata family, as they struggle with being blocked from flying to New Zealand for the scattering of Mikaere's ashes. Nikau takes the setback particularly badly, locking himself in his bedroom and refusing to engage with either Ari or Tane.

It's only when Bella comes over and speaks to Nikau through the locked door that he finally relents and starts to confide in her, appreciating the support.

Later, Ari, Tane and Nikau head to the beach and perform a haka in tribute to Mikaere. The moving moment helps to bring the family back together again as they honour their lost loved one.

2. Tane does a disappearing act

The Parata family also start to worry about how they're going to afford to pay the rent now Gemma has left. Without her wage, the state of their finances is looking concerning.

Tane considers returning to his old criminal ways for a quick fix, despite Ari and Mackenzie both urging him not to. Ari manages to secure Tane a labouring job, but before he can break the good news, his troublesome brother has already left the Bay to carry out a dodgy job. Ari and Nikau have no idea when – or if – Tane will return.

3. Tori finally becomes concerned over Jasmine

Tori receives a copy of Jasmine's marketing material for mother and daughter classes at the gym. It contains pictures of Jasmine and Grace together, even though Tori hadn't given her permission for this.

Tori confides in Justin about her concerns and he reminds her that Jasmine's possessive and manipulative behaviour has been a concern for a while now.

When Tori confronts her friend, Jasmine lies by claiming that she sought her permission and Tori must have forgotten. Tori remains unsettled and decides to consult Colby for a police perspective on the situation.

4. Jasmine's behaviour spirals out of control

Jasmine is not pleased when Colby intervenes by asking her to remove Grace's images from the gym marketing. The situation spirals into a public row and when Colby tries to get Jasmine to calm down, she lashes out and accidentally cuts his face.

Things get worse when Willow reveals the spiteful posts that Jasmine has been making about Tori online. Jasmine is also caught out for taking toys and other keepsakes belonging to Grace without permission.

Tori lays down the law with Jasmine by vowing to make a formal police report against her unless she stays away from Grace from now on.

5. Dean gets a new opportunity

It's Ben and Maggie's final week in the Bay, but there's lots for them to sort out before they go. Top of the agenda is figuring out what to do with their house. They invite Ziggy and Dean to move in when they're gone, but the young couple decide that they'd prefer to carry on living at the pier apartment for the foreseeable future.

Ben has another generous suggestion when he offers to leave the board shop to Dean. After some initial hesitation over whether he's ready for the responsibility, Dean agrees to become the new owner of Ben's Boards.

6. Dean fears Ziggy is missing Brody

While packing, Maggie finds Ziggy's wedding album. During a moment alone, Ziggy looks through the pictures from the day that she married Brody and can't help becoming emotional.

Dean is concerned when he spots Ziggy crying over the photographs, seemingly missing her lost love. Can Ziggy make Dean realise that she was only emotional over her parents' departure, not the memories of her ill-fated marriage to Brody?

When Ben and Maggie's final day in Summer Bay arrives, Alf arranges a farewell lunch to make sure they can't sneak off quietly. Alf makes a touching tribute to the couple as he reflects on their three years in the Bay.

John is keen to attend the occasion, but Marilyn puts him off as she feels it'll be too difficult to physically get him there. Ben and Justin step in to help when they realise John is home alone, but his unexpected arrival creates an awkward atmosphere with Marilyn.

8. Marilyn makes a devastating confession

Back home, John pushes Marilyn to talk to him about the state of their loveless marriage. John can tell that Marilyn feels an obligation to him as a carer, but no longer loves him as a wife.

When John refuses to let the issue go, Marilyn finally snaps and admits to him that she doesn't love him anymore.

It seems that the popular Summer Bay couple have reached the end of the road, but Irene provides a ray of hope by suggesting John should look into professional care arrangements. Irene thinks John and Marilyn could find their old spark once Marilyn isn't so closely involved in his day-to-day care.

9. Ryder makes a selfless choice

Ryder continues to await news on Evan, knowing that he won't have long left. Alf keeps a close eye on his grandson and even considers missing Martha's art show in order to be there for him.

Ryder insists that he'll be fine and encourages Alf to be with the woman he loves, leaving Alf proud of his grandson's selfless words.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5, with first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR.
