SINGAPORE — About 940,000 Singaporean HDB households will receive the Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) Rebate for one year, for the period from April 2020 to March 2021.

This comes as part of the Care and Support Package announced during this year’s Budget, to help Singaporean households with their expenses.

Eligible households will each received a total of 1.5 to 3.5 months of S&CC Rebate, depending on their flat type.

They will be notified via letters from end-March, and will receive their quarterly S&CC Rebate in April, July, October and January 2021.

The S&CC Rebate has been paid out annually by the Government since 2013, to help directly offset HDB households’ S&CC payments. Households that pay their S&CC through GIRO do not need to take any action as their respective Town Councils will make arrangements directly with their banks.
