Aarif Rahman Lee confirms new romance
23 Oct – Aarif Rahman Lee recently came clean about his love life after he was spotted kissing a mystery woman in a restaurant in China.
The actor took to Weibo to share a photo of two hands clicking on champagne glasses, and wrote, "Thank you for your well-wishes. She is a Chinese-American girl who grew up in Dubai. I was her first love, which is why I didn't want it to be exposed and why we didn't disclose it before."
He also stated that his new girlfriend is not part of showbiz or an internet celebrity, and hopes that netizens and media alike would not make any more comments about her.
"In the following road, I hope that everyone will focus on my work. I will continue to work hard to be a good person and a good actor," he added.
Aarif's most known rumoured romance was with Fan Bingbing, whom he worked with in the 2014 series, "The Empress of China". However, it was immediately debunked after Fan announced that she was dating another co-star of the said series, Li Chen.
