Abigail Breslin hits back at troll for 'harmful and abusive' comments
Abigail Breslin has hit out at a Twitter troll who commented on her weight, saying his remarks were “disgusting” and “harmful” and were the sort of thing that caused her to display signs of an eating disorder when she was 14 years old.
The former child star, now 23, posted a message on Twitter revealing she was sick of people calling females in her field “fat”, quoting one person who apparently asked if she had gone on the “eat everything diet”.
A troll then piped up to say he had called her fat once, and asked if it was too much trouble for her to exercise three times a week.
The person said: “I think I called you fat once. I’m sorry.
“Still I thought your product in acting was attractive in appearance and is your gimmick.

“Is it really much trouble to attempt some sit-ups and pushups and spend like 15 minutes on a treadmill every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday?”

The Little Miss Sunshine actress, who was Oscar-nominated for the role in 2006, snapped straight back: “Wow... Who even are u?
“I am 5 ft 1 inches tall and 110 lbs...
“R u insane? Would it kill you to do math?”

The Twitter user replied: “I don’t know heights for women and weights.
“To be honest I thought you were a little cubby at times but probably just like a little overweight.
“I’m in real bad shape rate now personally. So I shouldn’t complain.”
Breslin responded: “I don’t care if u find me attractive.
“I find your disgusting, unwarranted, ignorant, offensive, obtuse, harmful, and abusive comments UNATTRACTIVE. YOUR words are the exact reason a 14 yr old me started throwing up after meals.
“U don’t know how detrimental ur words can be.”

She added: “Btw: why are you so concerned about a young woman’s physique, and furthermore, why do YOU feel YOU have the authority to comment on it?
“Get urself tg b4 u cause severe damage to someone.”

Breslin found fame as a beauty pageant contestant in 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine, and has gone on to star in films such as Zombieland, The Call and My Sister’s Keeper.
