ABS-CBN cancels new series with Bea Alonzo

18 Sep – ABS-CBN recently revealed that the previously planned Bea Alonzo TV series has been scrapped.

As reported on ABS-CBN News, on 17 September ABS-CBN entertainment production unit Star Creatives revealed that they were not able to accommodate the project at present "because of the restrictive scenarios of shooting".

However, Star Creatives added that they will be looking forward to working with Alonzo again in the future.

It is noted that the actress first shared about the said project last year, saying that she was taping a new teleserye. She was originally scheduled to film two projects with Richard Gutierrez; a series that co-stars Rafael Rosell, and a movie that also stars Angelica Panganiban.

Alonzo's last series was the 2017 show, "A Love to Last", which co-stars Ian Veneracion and Iza Calzado.
