Actor Adi Putra remarries first ex-wife

19 Jan – Actor Datuk Adi Putra has remarried his ex-wife Aida Yusof, having tied the knot with each other again yesterday.

News of the remarriage was shared by the couple's close friend Datuk Nurulhidayah, daughter of Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, on her own Instagram account.

Nurul, who is currently in Madinah to perform Umrah, posted a photo showing Adi putting a ring onto his wife's finger.

She also included a caption congratulating the couple, saying that she was proud of them and jokingly hesitated between calling them a "new couple" or an "old couple".

Not wanting to keep the good news secret, the "KL Gangster" actor also uploaded his own photo with Aida on social media and thanked those who prayed for their relationship.

Previously, Adi and Aida married in April 2006. They have no children of their own but adopted one daughter together.

Adi later sparked controversy in June 2016 when he revealed that he had taken on a second wife, Norshahida Dzolkifly, without his first wife's knowledge.

However, in March 2017, the actor released a statement on Instagram announcing that he had divorced both wives.
