American actor and producer Josh Hartnett will be in Singapore in November for a panel on the movie “Oh Lucy!”, which he stars in.
Hartnett, 39, will appear alongside director Atsuko Hirayanagi and Japanese actress Shinobu Terajima at the Marina Bay Sands on 30 November, as part of the 28th Singapore International Film Festival.
In the feature-length drama-comedy, Hartnett plays John, an English teacher to Terajima’s office lady character, Setsuko, who falls in love with him.
Hartnett is known for his roles in war-time action films such as “Pearl Harbor” (2001) and “Black Hawk Down” (2002), as well as the drama “The Virgin Suicides” (1999).
He was also recently in the British-American TV horror drama “Penny Dreadful” where he acted alongside Eva Green and Timothy Dalton.
The 28th Singapore International Film Festival runs from 23 November to 3 December.
