Adam Rosly in court for remand hearing over "unusual wealth"

PUTRAJAYA: Ampang PKR’s Youth chief, Datuk Adam Rosly, who was arrested yesterday to assist the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)’s investigation into his “unusual' wealth”, was hauled to the magistrate's court today for his remand hearing.

The 28-year-old smiled and posed for press cameras and waved at reporters upon arrival at the court complex at 9.25am.

He was accompanied by two MACC officers and his lawyer.

Adam had presented himself at the MACC headquarters here at 2.30pm yesterday, and had his statement recorded to assist investigations into his assets.

The young Datuk was plunged into controversy over the legitimacy of his wealth, following revelations by Red Shirts leader, Datuk Jamal Yunos, that he owns a ‘castle-like’ house and luxury cars despite his young age.
