Adele fans 'devastated' as pre-sale tickets sell out after 'insane' queues
Adele fans have said they are “devastated” after pre-sale tickets for her London shows sold out in an hour.
The Rolling In The Deep singer is returning to the stage and will play two open-air shows in the city's Hyde Park, on Friday 1 July and Saturday 2 July.
The presale for tickets opened on Thursday and thousands of fans flocked online to try and snap them up.

However, according to reports they were all purchased within 60 minutes.
Many fans told of their frustration as they ended up in the “insane” queue.
“Just been in a queue for over an hour for Adele tickets to sell out, crying,” one posted on Twitter, while another said they felt “heartbroken”.
“61,000 in front of me in the queue for Adele tickets - imagine me thinking I had a chance,” said another.
“This is a special kind of sick twisted torture @ Adele but love you queen,” posted another.
Another fan said they felt “devastated and very annoyed” to have missed out.
“My heart is literally broken @Adele,” said one upset fan.
“Can’t even explain how gutted I am,” posted another.
Others said they hoped Adele would go on to play a full world tour to give them a better chance of seeing her live.
"Seriously this is insane,” tweeted one. “Please hurry up & announce the world tour."
"She needs to announce a world tour already, like, Adele babes give us five dates at Wembley at least hun," posted another.
Adele recently unveiled her hotly-anticipated new song, Easy On Me, after a long hiatus, and her new album, 30, is out in November.

In a recent interview with Zoe Ball for Radio 2, the star said she wasn't able to plan a world tour at the moment because she didn't want to have to disappoint people by cancelling dates due to the COVID pandemic.
She said: “I don’t have any solid plans because of COVID. It’s so hard to plan a global tour or global thing really, in person and stuff like that.”
But it now seems she was hinting at the Hyde Park shows when she added: “We have a few options in the pipeline and we are just trying to sort of work out what is most doable.
“Obviously I had to cancel my final two Wembley shows and I was devastated. I just don’t want to be cancelling anything again.”
“Maybe I’ll be b***** busking in the Tube, we just don’t know do we!”
General tickets go on sale on Saturday 30 October at 10am.
