Aerosmith announce 'Aero-Vederci Baby!' tour in Europe 2017: a final farewell?

Aerosmith

On Monday, November 15, the American rock band Aerosmith announced a "mammoth European tour," also potentially their last.

Is this the last hurrah for the internationally famous rock stars Aerosmith? Over a career dating back 45 years, the band have sold more than 45 million albums and have been awarded four Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards, and 12 MTV Awards among others.

Despite the tour title and description as a "farewell" tour, the text accompanying the video announcement suggests that the band might not be going for good. Lead singer Steven Tyler is quoted as saying "The band is unstoppable right now and in Europe, we're going to keep doing what we do best... Let The Music Do The Talking...Living On The Edge, and living to rock another day."

The dates announced for the "Aero-Vederci Baby!" tour include a headliner at the UK's Download Festival (June 11), France's world-famous Hellfest (June 17) and Barcelona's Rock Fest (July 2).
