"My Ages Apart" wins TVB Awards' Best Drama

22 Jan – It was a night of unexpected wins at the 50th TVB Anniversary Awards, with "My Ages Apart" winning Best Drama, and no one series dominating the categories.

As reported on Mingpao, even though the drama won the big prize at the event held on 21 January, the Bobby Au Yeung-starrer won none of the other categories.

On the other hand, "The Exorcist's Meter" and "Legal Mavericks" won two awards - with the former leads winning Most Popular Male Television Character, and the drama winning Global Online Favourite Series, while the latter's stars Vincent Wong and Sisley Choi won Best Actor and Most Popular Female Television Character.

On the other hand, while "The Unholy Alliance" actor Joel Chan and Elaine Yiu previously won Best Supporting Actor and Actress at the TVB Star Awards Malaysia, only Joel was successful in winning the award again at this time. On the other hand, it was Rebecca Zhu who won Best Supporting Actress for her role in "A General, A Scholar, and A Eunuch".
