Ahmad Idham uses new actors in "Mat Moto"

23 Nov – Movie director and producer, Ahmad Idham, is bringing a difference in his upcoming movie, "Mat Moto", by introducing a batch of the local movie industry's fresh faces.
Some of the newcomers who will be starring in the movie are Niezam Zaidi, Along Eyzendy, Pablo Amirul and Elly Feliziana.
"I used to employ more popular actors, but now I want to feature new faces as they also have the criteria that fit the characters in the movie," said the director to Sinar Harian.
The "Lari" director added that his new movie will showcase a different side of 'mat moto' (bikers), who are often looked upon negatively by the society.
He will not only show the drag racing side of it but also give a wider view of their lives and include more positive points, such as motorcycle upgrades, group activities and convoys.
The movie follows a teenage girl named Alia who lost her elder brother Madi after an illegal motor racing. Since then, she hates teenagers involved in motorcycle drag races. However, her view starts to change after meeting a mechanic named Zamri.
"Mat Moto" opens in cinemas nationwide this 24 December.
