Japan's Ai Miyazato came from behind to win the NW Arkansas Championship for her second victory of the year and ninth LPGA Tour career title. Miyazato overcame a five-shot deficit as she made a five-foot birdie putt on No. 18 at the Pinnacle Country Club course to finish at 12 under for the tournament. She outduelled Mika Miyazato, who missed a 15-foot birdie attempt on the final hole. The two women are not related. Ai Miyazato had seven birdies and one bogey in the final round to finish one shot ahead of Mika Miyazato and Azahara Munoz. Ai Miyazato became just the third player to win multiple tournaments this season as she also won the LOTTE Championship in April. Three-time winner Yani Tseng, of Taiwan, and American Stacy Lewis also have multiple wins. Mika Miyazato closed with a 67 and Munoz shot 65. Venezuelan rookie Veronica Felibert fired a 72 to tie for fourth at 10 under. She began the round with a four-shot lead. Felibert started the day at 11 under after only one bogey in the first two rounds. She got to 12 under twice on the front nine, but both times she gave the shots back with follow up bogeys. Her bogey at the ninth hole resulted in a brief three-way tie with Mika Miyazato and Inbee Park. Felibert then made bogey on the 12th and 13th holes to drop out of the lead for good.
