There are so many reasons to love Aldi. For starters, the grocery chain is currently selling heart-shaped pizzas, as well as cheeses for Valentine's Day and I've never felt so seen (chocolates are nice, but this gal wants a whole meal!). It is also selling Crab Rangoon Dip so I can pretend I'm at my fave Chinese takeout place without even leaving the house. But there's more to Aldi than just great deals on food. In fact, the retailer sells a lot of home goods! If you're a plant parent, you should consider heading to Aldi specifically to buy some new greenery. During the holiday season, we were fawning over its festive mini succulent deal for $3.99, and nowAldi is selling a variety of indoor plants for $12.99.

Just scroll through and look at these beauts! These large, low-maintenance plants all have tropical origins and are the perfect accessory to brighten up your space. Or if you're feeling wild, buy a couple of these bad boys to transform your space into a jungle. One plant being offered right now is the Dieffenbachia (also goes by 'Dumb Cane'), a tropical flowering plant, that was also ranked as the most popular house plant in Iowa, according to our list. Majority of stores selling this green have it priced in the $30 to $40 range. The best price I found for it was $25 at Lowe's— which is a solid deal, but not as sweet as Aldi's $12.99.

Aldi is also selling Cordylines, another tropical plant breed characterized by its variegated pink and green leaves. I did a little price check for this rosy sprout, and found that it typically sells for around $40 to $50. The closest contender to Aldi’s $12.99 steal, was a cordyline at Walmart for $20. Truthfully speaking, the Cordylines seen in Aldi boast way more pink tones than Walmart's selection. For me, that’s a very important factor when buying a houseplant—I mean, how else am I going to become one of Instagram's garden stars?

Other plant types Aldi is offering include : dracena, spathiphyllum, philodendron, palm, and lubbersii. If you have an Aldi store near you, I suggest heading over to check out its stock. Unfortunately, this is not the type of deal available. Look at the bright side though, you'll be able to really inspect your new shrubbery before hauling it home.
