Amanda Seyfried is determined to shield her father from viewing her nude.
The actress portrays porn star Linda Lovelace in new biopic Lovelace.
However she isn’t comfortable with her parent seeing her take her clothes off.
“I begged him to come and see it because I’m proud of it,” she revealed to Access Hollywood.
“I’m gonna sit next to him and literally shield him from the nudity. That’s it. The violence I want him to watch.
“I want him to see everything except for my boobs — because that’s just weird!”
While she is frightened her dad may catch a glimpse of her bare frame, she didn’t have a problem with filming scenes between the sheets.
Amanda felt lucky to be working with her friend Peter Sarsgaard in front of the camera.
“There’s nothing scary about the sex scenes,” she shared. “There’s no consequences. It’s very safe – especially with Peter. I trust him, he’s a good pal and a great co-star.”
The 27-year-old also helped depict the physical abuse Linda allegedly went through with first husband, Chuck Traynor.
She found recording that part with Peter most disturbing.
“The violence was tough,” she said. “It’s not that I was afraid of being hurt or anything like that, I was afraid of where it would take me because we’re depicting something that was really happening to this woman.”
Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan was previously attached to play Linda in another biopic titled Inferno.
Amanda thinks she could have done well at the role if she worked hard.
“I can imagine her doing it,” Amanda admitted. “I think she has it in her. She’s gotta find it, but I think she has it in her.”© Cover Media
