One of the coolest things about watching runway fashion shows is that you get to see what will be coming out next season — if you're even able to watch those shows, of course. Fashion shows are notoriously exclusive and only a select group of people actually get to watch them unfold.

Another frustration: You have to wait several months until you can actually get your hands on those clothes. Well, not anymore.

For the first time ever, top fashion brands Rodarte, Altuzarra and Oscar de la Renta will be streaming their runway shows for New York Fashion Week on Amazon Live. Not only that, you can actually shop items from those brands on Amazon through the livestream's shopping carousel. This is actually happening!

Here's how it works: During the livestream, you can buy exclusive sweatshirts from Rodarte at Amazon's Luxury Stores, along with certain pieces from Altuzarra’s spring 2022 runway collection. Those Altuzarra pieces are exclusive to Luxury Stores and Altuzarra’s website for a limited time, and range from ready-to-wear items to handbags.

You can also scope out Oscar de la Renta’s digital presentation while flipping through clothes from the brand's fall 2021 collection. The shows don't start until this weekend, but you can follow each brand at Amazon to be pinged when your show goes live.

Here's the lineup, just in case you want to set calendar alerts now:

• Rodarte Spring 2022 Runway Show: Saturday, Sept. 11 at noon EST

• Altuzarra Spring 2022 Runway Show: Sunday, Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. EST

• Oscar de la Renta Spring 2022 Digital Presentation: Sunday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. EST

Again, this is all happening this weekend — and you can shop each brand's collections at the same time.

Just heads up, in case you can't wait a second longer to shop: Oscar de la Renta has already dropped pieces from the iconic brand's fall 2021 collection online. You can snag a stunning pressed flower cloque sleeveless dress, a sunflower-emblazoned silk chiffon blouse, emerald green baroque geometric earrings and more online right now.
