Amy Yip denies prepping for a comeback
18 Dec - Former Hong Kong sex symbol Amy Yip has recently denied rumours that she is now working hard to prepare herself for her comeback.
As reported on ET Today, previously, it was reported that the 49-year-old actress is ready to return to showbiz after 21 years, now that her relationship with orthopaedist boyfriend has turned - in the words of Amy herself - 'quite boring'.
Tabloids claimed that Amy has been working hard to get into shape, running several times a day and doing a lot of exercises to prepare for her return.
However, when asked about it recently, Amy stated that she is not making any preparations at all, although she admitted to keeping tabs on what's going on in the entertainment industry.
"There are too many young models out there anyway. How am I going to compete with them?" she said.
Meanwhile, it was rumoured that her relationship with boyfriend Sammy Lui has soured as they have yet to tie the knot after more than two decades of relationship.
To this, Amy responded, "I did want to get married in the past, but now the matter has dragged on for too long. I think it's better for us both if we give each other some space."
