Andre 3000 to star in second season of 'American Crime'
Actor and rapper Andre Benjamin, perhaps better known as Andre 3000, has been cast to star in the next season of “American Crime.”
In the second season of the anthology series, Benjamin will play the role of Michael Lacroix, an architect married to Regina King’s character. The couple's lives are turned upside down when their son accuses members of the basketball team at his private school of sexually assaulting him and posting photos of the attack online, reports Variety.
It’s the second time Benjamin will work with show creator and producer John Ridley. The first time the pair worked together was on “All Is by My Side” in 2014, when the actor played a young Jimi Hendrix.
Season two of the show is set to air in 2016.
