Andy Lau will try to compensate fans that refuse refund

7 Feb – Although the event organiser for Andy Lau's recently cancelled shows has already announced ticket refund details, many of the singer's fans have expressed unwillingness to get their money back, hoping that there is some other more satisfying way to get their money's worth.

And it is because of that, that Andy has recently announced that he will try his best to compensate his fans in a different way.

The singer recently posted a message on his official website, saying that he has heard and understands some of his fans' request, and that while there are things that is out of his hands, he promises fans that he will do something for those who would rather not part with their tickets.

"After the refund process is completed, I will definitely do something personal to compensate fans who do not want a refund," he said.

On the subject of refund, Andy acknowledged the complexities of handling it, saying that he had to wait for the organisers and other parties to reach an agreement on how to best deal with compensating fans who have bought tickets to his cancelled performances.

It is noted that fans will be able to refund their tickets via mail by filling official refund form available on his tour website.

Andy previously attempted to book the Hong Kong Coliseum for late 2019 shows - to replace the seven shows he cancelled late last year and early this year due to his health problem. However, the singer eventually failed to secure the venue.
