Angela Chang slams netizens for verbal abuse

29 May – Taiwanese singer Angela Chang recently expressed anger towards netizens who insulted her online.

As reported on Now News, the singer, who took to Weibo to express her thoughts, stated that she preferred the old days where there was no internet, and that people had to express their disagreement with each other openly.

She wrote, "[Because of that] you have to think before you speak. But now that everything is so convenient over the internet that it is just a matter of stretching your muscles, you can indiscriminately attack other people."

"Why should I get used to this? It is not acceptable to condone verbal abuse on the internet. Why should I tolerate it?" she added.

It is understood that Angela's anger might have been caused by the fan war between her followers and Hebe Tien's fans that resulted in each other's fans attacking the opposite idols' appearances.
