Angelababy gives birth to first child in Hong Kong
Hong Kong actress Angelababy has given birth to her first son on Tuesday (17 Jan), according to Hong Kong daily Sing Tao news.
The report said that her husband, actor Huang Xiaoming, made the announcement through a statement. He also said that the couple had initially expected the birth to take place on Chinese New Year, which starts on 28 January.
The pair tied the knot in in May 2015 after a six-year romance. Angelababy, whose real name is Yang Ying, announced her pregnancy last year.
According to Hong Kong news reports, Huang will be accompanying his wife in Hong Kong. Their parents will also be paying a visit to meet the couple’s son.
Angelababy recently acted in Roland Emmerich’s Hollywood movie “Independence Day: Resurgence” as a Chinese fighter pilot alongside stars such as Liam Hemsworth and Jeff Goldblum. Her latest Chinese movies include “League of Gods” and “See You Tomorrow”.
