Angelina Jolie’s son Pax has been photographed for the first time following a horror electric bike accident that left him with serious scars on his forehead.

Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old son of Jolie and her ex-husband Brad Pitt, sustained head injuries in a crash just over a month ago.

On Sunday he was photographed at the Toronto Film Festival beside his mother, with scars across his forehead and the top of his nose.

He was on the red carpet for the premiere of Without Blood, a war drama written and directed by Jolie and which Pax also worked on, alongside his brother Maddox.

According to TMZ, Pax had been riding through Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles in heavy rush-hour traffic around 5pm on July 29 when he struck the rear of a car that had stopped at a red light at an intersection.

The outlet reported Pax had not been riding a helmet at the time of the crash.

Two months before the crash Pax had been driving his Tesla through Hollywood when he crashed with a box truck, MailOnline reported. It is understood police attended the scene, but no report was made.

An eyewitness told TMZ he was seen lying lifeless on the ground, but appeared to regain consciousness once paramedics arrived.

He was reportedly left with hip pain and a head injury, and was taken to an LA hospital for treatment.

He suffered “complex trauma” in the crash, according to MailOnline, and was reportedly later seen wearing a cast on his arm.

Pax was adopted by Jolie from a Vietnamese orphanage near Ho Chi Minh City in 2012, and was later formally adopted by Pitt. The couple, who have six children together, separated in 2016.

Last year a withering Instagram post - understood to have been posted on Father’s Day in 2020 - came to light, in which Pax reportedly branded his adoptive father a "world-class a**hole" and an "awful human being”.

While Pax has enjoyed a life mostly out of the spotlight, he has dabbled in the performance arts. He voiced the character of Yoo on Kung Fu Panda 3 and was a set photographer on Jolie's film First They Killed My Father in August 2022.

He has also worked on his mother’s upcoming film Without Blood, starring Salma Hayek.

Discussing working with Pax and Maddox on various film sets, Jolie told People: “We work well together. When a film crew is at its best, it feels like a big family, so it felt natural.”

Pax graduated from a prestigious LA private school in 2021 but did not attend the ceremony as he did not want to make a “circus” of the event, he Sun reported.
