Antoine Griezmann has set his sights on Philippe Coutinho's shirt number at Barcelona amid growing speculation linking the Brazilian with of a move away from the Camp Nou.

Griezmann has worn the No17 shirt at Barcelona since his move across Spain last summer but now wants the No7 currently occupied by Coutinho, hinting it will become vacant at the end of the season.

"I would like to get the number seven shirt again," Griezmann said during a live Twitch stream.

Barcelona are open to offers for Coutinho this summer and will consider bids in the region of €80m.

That represents a significant markdown on the €120m plus €40m in variables they paid Liverpool for his services in January 2018. The Brazilian has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich, but the Bundesliga champions do not plan to take up an option to make that deal permanent for €120m at the end of the year.

That has prompted Barca to seek other suitors at a knock-down price, and Chelsea have been linked with a move should their attempt to lure Jadon Sancho fail.
