See Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's Rs 34-crore home where they’re self-isolating

He’s known for his aggress leadership and flamboyant stroke-play. It only seems reasonable that Virat Kohli’s home would reflect some of that flamboyance, right? After he married Anushka Sharma, the two moved into their home in Worli, Mumbai. Kohli had purchased this luxury apartment back in 2016 for a whopping Rs 34 crore from Omkar Realtors and Developers in their residential project called Omkar 1973.

So what does the home of the First Couple of Indian Cricket look like? For starters, Kohli and Anushka’s pad sprawls more than 7,000 square feet – 7,171 to be precise. Located on the 35th floor of a 70-storey complex, the apartment is said to offer some breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. It also gives you a bird’s eye view of Mumbai.

Virat Kohli’s apartment complex, Omkar 1973, comprises three towers. Each of these towers are 70 stories high. All the flats in the complex have a ceiling height of 13 feet giving you an even greater sense of space. The decks and verandas extend from each bedroom offer a space for its residents to sit out and watch the sun go down. Omkar 1973 has an indoor tennis court, day-care for children and a clinic for pets.

The entire project has some of the top names associated with it. These include Barkley-America‘s premier pet care facility, HBA (Hersh Bedner Associates) from UK, who had led Omkar 1973’s interior designing and hospitality, and LDA Design that designed the landscape. The London-based architecture firm Foster + Partners served as lead architects and designers on Omkar 1973 Worli.

Anushka and Virat’s four bedroom flat is said to follow minimalist décor principles and has a lot of white spaces but doesn’t mean its without its cosy nooks and accented walls. Aside from this Mumbai apartment, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also own a bungalow in Gurugram. That property is reportedly worth Rs 80 crore.
