PETALING JAYA, May 17 — The Pakatan Harapan presidential council's "top five" will now be the "top six" to accomodate the inclusion of recently-freed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"The presidential council will have a smaller body, the top six. We want to include Datuk Seri Anwar.

“So the top six will meet more often and when there is an issue they will be ones to meet and take immediate action," PH chairman and Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad told reporters at a news conference here.

Anwar was here earlier to meet Dr Mahathir but it is understood he did not attend the presidential council meeting. The PKR de facto leader also did not show up for the press conference.

PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said Anwar will be attending the council's next meeting.
