Ariana Grande had no choice but to virtually reunite with her Victorious castmates in honour of the show's 10th anniversary due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as they gathered together for a video chat.

The 'thank u, next' singer joined Victoria Justice, who played protagonist Tori Vega on the Nickelodeon show, and creator Dan Schneider on Instagram to thank fans for sticking by them over the last decade.

Other cast members from the Nickelodeon series who appeared in the live chat included Leon Thomas III, who starred as Andre Harris, Avan Jogia, who played Beck Oliver, and Matt Bennett, who portrayed Robbie Shapiro.

Elizabeth Gillies, who starred as Jade West, Daniella Monet, who played Trina Vega and Hollywood Arts' acting teacher Erwin Sikowitz himself, Eric Lange, were also online.

"We love you guys. Thank you so much for supporting our show and after all these years, 10 years. This is absolutely insane," Justice said, before touching on the COVID-19 outbreak that has people around the globe staying in their homes.

"We hope that you guys are staying home and staying safe and staying healthy. Sending you guys all our love in the world. Thank you!"

Later, Grande – who played Cat Valentine – shared a screenshot of the online hangout on Instagram. "Happy," she wrote alongside the black-and-white image.

Released in March 2010, Victorious ran for three years.

It followed Tori and her pals as they studied at a performing arts school and tried to make it as singers and actors.

The show also spawned the spin-off/crossover series Sam & Cat, which Grande starred in alongside Jennette McCurdy.
