Arrest after complaints school bus driver was watching pornography

A man has been arrested and charged by police after complaints that a school bus driver was watching pornography while picking up pupils.

Officers were waiting at Jedburgh Grammar Campus for the bus arriving from Denholm in the Scottish Borders on 20 September.

The driver was removed from the Howard Snaith Travel service while police investigations continued.

Police Scotland confirmed a 54-year-old man had been arrested and charged in relation to complaints of inappropriate behaviour.

Police previously said they were investigating the allegations to establish if there had been any criminality.

A report will now be sent to prosecutors.
