Arsenal fans believe that Bukayo Saka may have hinted that he is set to sign a new contract with the club.

The 18-year-old is one of several youngsters from the Gunners' academy to break into the first team this season after being handed his debut by former boss Unai Emery.

Saka has emerged as a key creative force from the left flank with 10 assists in all competitions while also impressing as a makeshift full-back under Mikel Arteta following injuries to Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac.

The teenager's performances have drawn interest from Europe's elite, with Liverpool, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona all reportedly interested in his signature.

With only a year left to run on his current deal, Arsenal have been urged to tie Saka down to a new contract, but the two parties are yet to reach an agreement.

However, his latest social media post may suggest that a deal could be imminent.

Saka posted an image of himself on Instagram in an Arsenal kit from his childhood, captioning the photo: "Kid with a dream...", leading Arsenal fans to interpret the photo as a sign Saka is set to put pen to paper.

Such an outcome would mark a huge boost for Arteta, who is keen to assemble a squad capable of challenging for Champions League qualification and has been vocal in his praise for the academy graduate.

Keeping talented players such as Saka could also help Arsenal to convince star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - who also has just 13 months remaining on his current contract - to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
