Ah, this is just mean now. It's four... Spurs have collapsed. It's a hat-trick for Lisa Evans! Mead sends in a square ball from the right and Evans is there and fires firmly into the roof of the net. Calmly done again, though that was the easiest of the lot.

Of course, the game is not over. 15 minutes or so to go and it is definitely possible to score two goals in that time. It is very unlikely, though. Spurs' resistance is ended and emphatically so. Arsenal and Spurs were fairly evenly matched in the first half but Arsenal have been good for their lead in this one.

Neville again makes the mistake as she slips, trying to clear the ball. She can only poke it into the middle of nowhere. Miedema picks up and plays a superb ball through to Evans on the edge of the box... she takes a couple of steps and slots it coolly along the ground and past Spencer to double Spurs' lead.

Arsenal with the breakthrough goal! And it's a good one, Jordan Nobbs putting them up 1-0. 

Neville plays a loose ball across the field, Jordan Nobbs is onto it with a soft touch, she spots Spencer off her line and lobs the Spurs goalie from 25-yards out. Fantastic stuff.

No sign of Alex Morgan. Well, she's sitting in the stands quite huddled up. But no sign of her coming on, at least. Nobbs fires one on the slide from about 10 yards out but it's comfortably at Spencer in the goal. Great ball through by Little.

Spurs should be pretty happy with this, closing in on half time and are well in the game. Arsenal have had the two best chances but there hasn't been a great deal more from them at all. Bit of shirt pulling going on on the Spurs attack, McCabe the culprit and in the box as well. You can't do that and she's a bit lucky to get away with it.

This is better and more threatening from Spurs, as Zinsberger comes out and punches the danger away. Kennedy is down in the attack, though she seems to be fine after a minute or so.

Injury here to McCabe who was whacked on the touchline, I think. Nothing that was caught on camera but there's a bit of blood on her shorts and the physio comes on to sort it out. Spurs waste an attack with the woman advantage as Davison overhits a cross from the left. McCabe back on the pitch.

Spencer wins the race and collects out of her area... ball at her feet, calm and cool and deals with the danger. Nobbs wins an Arsenal corner.

Miedema starts the counter attack before being robustly challenged a little late... she can't take part in the attack, though and Arsenal lack the numbers in the end. Zadorsky is booked for the foul on Miedema at the start of that move.

Not a game that has been flush with chances since Foord missed that great chance with her head earlier on in the game.  Miedema cannot chase down an overhit pass on the left as Arsenal attempt a counter. And fail.

Alex Morgan reveals transfer to Spurs from Orlando Pride 'happened really fast'

USA national women’s forward Alex Morgan has revealed  her deadline-day move to Tottenham Hotspur was completed in “less than 48 hours” after entering into discussions with the club. Morgan became the fifth World Cup winner from the USA team to join the Women’s Super League when she was unveiled as a Spurs player earlier this month, after Sam Mewis and Rose Lavelle (Manchester City), and Tobin Heath and Christen Press (Manchester United).

Will Alex Morgan make her Spurs debut?

The 31-year-old United States forward has been training with the Women's Super League club all week following her move from Orlando Pride earlier this month.

She could be in contention for the last-eight tie against the Gunners, but it would be her first competitive match in over a year having given birth in May. Joint Tottenham manager Juan Amoros said: "Alex is obviously our player, we can't forget that she landed last week.

"She has been training with us for a week. She is one of our players and as everyone else can be selected to play because all the paperwork has been done. We will have to wait until almost the last minute."

Morgan, who is a two-time World Cup winner with the USA, is due to return to Orlando Pride for the NWSL (National Women's Soccer League next year, but Spurs are open to extending the deal.

Amoros added: "Regarding the deal of Alex, it is for a season. At the same time we know, the world we live in these days is a very difficult world.

"She has recently been a mum, her husband is still in America. There are a lot of things that can influence the next step, so we have to go step-by-step on this case and see how they adapt to London. The main aim is that she's part of the Spurs family, she is already quite happy with how everything is going and the club and her team-mates are making her feel welcome.

"Obviously a player of that calibre, we want to keep her for as long as we can. We will see on that but the main thing is that she is happy and fits part of the family.

"The deal is for a season but there are other things in her life and we always prioritise the person.

"She has recently become a mum this has had a big impact on her and the family situation is a bit different and also the situation in America. Making long-term plans is very difficult.

"We don't know what will happen next week. So at the moment, she's here, that's what really matters at the moment, she's a Spurs Women player and we hope that she has a great time with us and she and scores a lot of goals for us."
