Ashley Graham's intense workout move will blow you away

Supermodel Ashley Graham is famous for loving her curves and inspiring other women to do the same.  The body positive activist also inspires others to hit the gym and train hard to be in the best shape they can.

The 30-year-old model shared on her Instagram page an intense workout move that left many of her fans startled by her incredible strength.


Graham is seen carrying friend and activist T Ortiz on her shoulders while simultaneously bicep curling a long bamboo bar with a kettlebell hanging from each side. To make the exercise more difficult, Ortiz, who is on top of Graham, is lifting her own set of weights, performing a dumbbell press.

Graham does the “straight-bar bicep curl” move with her feet spread shoulder width apart, her knees kept slightly bent, and her back straight. Her palms face out as she curls up the bar to her chest. This exercise is known for strengthening the bicep muscles.

The video quickly gathered over 100,000 likes and 1,200 comments (at the time of this story). Fans congratulated her for her unquestionable strength and fitness endurance.

A commenter wrote, “That look of determination! You’re so strong and fierce I love it.” Another fan added, “I hope all the people that say you are ‘unhealthy’ see this one! You could run circles around all those trolls!”

The impressive exercise move done by the Sports Illustrated cover girl requires supervision and the help of a professional fitness trainer. Please don’t try this at home! In this case, it was done at celebrity hot spot gym the DogPound in Manhattan. Graham visits regularly.



The gym has become the unofficial workout spot for Victoria’s Secret models. Many of them got into shape at the DogPound before the December VS runway show.  Some of the gym’s most famous clients include angels Elsa Hosk, Adriana Lima, Josephine Skriver, and Lais Ribeiro.
