Ashton Kutcher addresses his anger over ex-wife Demi Moore’s memoir

Ashton Kutcher has opened up about his anger towards his ex-wife Demi Moore, following the release of her 2019 memoir.

Kutcher, 44, and Moore, 60, were married from 2005 to 2013, and received wide media attention over their relationship, due to their age difference.

Moore subsequently revealed personal stories about her romance with Kutcher, who is now married to the actress Mila Kunis, in her memoir Inside Out.

Kutcher has explained in a new interview that he felt angry over the memoir, due to the timing of release, as he’d “finally got to a place where the press had really laid off me and Mila and my life and my family”.

The That ‘70s Show actor told Esquire: “I was f***ing pissed.

“And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school.”

Kutcher insisted that he has no “hard feelings” towards Moore, despite the issue, as he opened up further about his past relationship with the Ghost actress.

The actor started dating Moore at the age of 25, while she was in her 40s, and inherited three stepdaughters during their relationship, Rumer, Scott and Tallulah Willis.

Speaking on the intimidating role taken on at the time, Kutcher said: “I was twenty-six, bearing the responsibility of an eight-year-old, a ten-year-old, and a twelve-year-old.”

The actor described being stepfather as “a lot” as he reflected on the experience.

Kutcher now shares daughter Wyatt, eight, and son Dimitri, six, with wife Kunis, 39, whom he married in 2015.

Kutcher recently appeared in the That ‘70s Show Netflix reboot, That ‘90’s Show, stepping back into the comedic role that made him famous in Hollywood over two decades later.

The star addressed one actor who has not returned to the reboot, Danny Masterson, following the rape allegations he’s received.

“Someday, his kid is going to read about this,” Kutcher said.

“I wholesale feel for anybody who feels like they were violated in any way.”

Kutcher added that he hopes Masterson is “to be found innocent of the charges brought against him”, saying of his accused crimes, he “ultimately doesn’t know” if his former co-star is guilty or not.

Kutcher next stars in the Netflix comedy Your Place or Mine alongside Reese Witherspoon, released February 10.
