KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) is wrapping up its nationwide tour by organising the #SPARKMaGIC Finale event, which will be filled with knowledge-sharing talk sessions, a creative and innovation workshop, exhibitions, marketplace, startup booths, as well as food and live entertainment.
Themed ‘Citizens of the Future’, the SPARK Finale 2017 aims to inculcate a problem-solving mindset among Malaysians on viewing problems as an opportunity and to always be on the search for innovative solutions.
The SPARK movement, which began this year, has already reached over 18,000 participants across 7 states, with an aim to positively impact them with the ability to think creatively and innovatively to support the country's progress in reaching the National Transformation 2050 (TN50).
The highly-anticipated event will be held on Dec 9 at Tiffin Food Court, Kelana Jaya, starting from 10:30 am until 6pm.
SPARK Finale 2017 will be gathering local startup heroes and heroines to share their inspiring journey to success while highlighting some of the challenges they faced along the way, and ways to overcome them. These entrepreneurs include TheLorry Co-founder and Executive Director Nadhir Ashafiq, PasarTap Co-Founder and CEO Hisham Talib, PropertyPriceTag CEO Koh Cha-Ly, as well as 100% Project Co-Founder Andrew Yong.
Among the main objectives of the event are to fuel interest in creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship, and to let the youth experience and be inspired to build a future economy that is inclusive and sustainable.
