PEKAN: Bukit Aman Police Management Division director Datuk Asri Yusoff heads the list of 199 recipients of Pahang awards and medals in conjunction with Pahang Sultan, Sultan Ahmad Shah’s birthday on Saturday.
The investiture ceremony was held at Istana Abu Bakar here and was graced by Pahang Regent, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
Asri was conferred the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award, which carries the title Datuk Seri.
Six other recipients of the SSAP award were the chief executive officer (CEO) of DDO Holding, Datuk Danish Ong; Group CEO of Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) Datuk Ahmad Azizi Ali; CEO of I Destinasi Sdn Bhd, Datuk Adimus Putra Muhamad; managing director of HL Porcelain Sdn Bhd, Oh King Kuan; director of Alam Armada Corp Sdn Bhd, Wan Mohd Fauzi Wan Kamaruddin; and managing diretor of Desuvara (M) Sdn Bhd, K. Kanthasamy.
Two persons were conferred the Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) award, which carries the tile Datuk, namely Pahang Land and Mineral director Datuk Nazri Abu Bakar and Pahang Health director Dr Sha’ari Ngadiman.
Six people received the Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) award, which also carries the title Datuk. They were Kuantan Municipal Council president Datuk Fadzilla Salleh, Kuala Lumpur Police deputy chief Datuk Zainuddin Yaacob and Global Station Sdn Bhd managing director Datin Zaiton Muhd Jiwa.
Other recipients of the DSAP award were Malaysian Rubber Board director-general Dr Zairossani Mohd Nor, Customs Department deputy director-general (Management) Dr Zulkefli Ibrahim and Sabah Police Deputy Commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah.
Sixty-one individuals were conferred the Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award, which also carries the title Datuk.
Among them are Deputy CEO cum chief operating officer of Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (KOPERASI) Datuk Abdullah Jusoh, Sarawak Customs director Datin Sharifah Halimah Tuanku Taha, Universiti Malaya Law Faculty Dean Associate Professor Dr Johan Shamsuddin Sabaruddin, Malaysian Harvest Sdn Bhd executive chairman Hiroshi Narisawa, Malaysian Ambassador to France Dr Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, Maran District Officer Zaman Azam Mohamad Sarif@Ahmat, Pahang CID chief SAC Othman Nanyan, head of Pahang Crime Prevention and Community Security Department SAC Abdul Aziz Salleh and former Guai assemblyman Hamzah Ibrahim.
Gear SNP Berhad managing director Lu Kun Fong was conferred the DIMP (Honorary) award.
In addition, five individuals received the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP) medal, Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) (12 recipients), Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) (10 recipients), Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP) (29 recipients), Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC) (20 recipients), Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT)(14 recipients) and Pingat Jasa Kebaktian. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
