When I was a kid (back in the stone age, aka the early 80s), I dreamed of someday owning my own coin-op arcade games. Or maybe just living in an arcade; that would've been fine, too. Never did I imagine the existence of something like the Atgames Legends Gamer Mini, nor that I could buy it for a measly $61. (It normally sells for $130, so this is a pretty sweet deal. In fact, it's $10 less than it was just last week.)

This kit consists of two components: A small circular console that plugs into your TV and a tabletop (coffee table-top?) controller that looks like it came straight from a coin-op arcade.

That controller is not only wireless, it's also battery-powered and rechargeable, meaning you don't have to deal with messy cords cluttering up the place.

The Legends Gamer Mini comes with 100 games preloaded (here's the complete list), and I'll be honest: I haven't heard of most of them. You won't find many classics like Asteroids and Pac-Man here (though you do get Space Invaders and Front Line); a lot of the included games come from consoles.

However, the system can connect to Atgames' ArcadeNet service, which affords access to hundreds of additional arcade and console titles (for a fee). There's also Cloud BYOG, which lets you stream your own PC games to the console.

Needless to say, there's a ton of videogame bang here for your 61 bucks. Really the only downside is that this is a single-player setup. Atgames does make a larger, two-player version of this, but it's $250 and not on sale at the moment.
