Baey Yam Keng replaces Zaqy Mohamad in PAP Central Executive Committee

Chua Chu Kang GRC Member of Parliament (MP) Zaqy Mohamad will not join the People’s Action Party’s (PAP) Central Executive Committee (CEC) due to a conflict of interest.

Mr Zaqy’s employer Ernst & Young is currently the auditor of the PAP.

Tampines GRC MP Baey Yam Keng will join the party's top decision-making committee instead, said a statement by PAP Organising Secretary Chan Chun Sing on Friday.

The 18-member CEC comprises 12 elected members and six co-opted members.
