Bangladeshi man, 27, with COVID-19 dies due to fall from height: MOH

SINGAPORE — A 27-year-old male Bangladeshi national who had COVID-19 infection has died after he fell from height, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Saturday (27 June).

The man, who was confirmed to have the infection on 6 June, died on Thursday. “The cause of death was multiple injuries consistent with those resulting from a fall from height,” the MOH said.

With the latest fatality, there are a total of 12 with COVID-19 infection who were determined to have died from unrelated causes. These include three whose deaths were attributed to a heart attack and another four, including the 48-year-old man, whose deaths were attributed to coronary heart disease.

To date, there have been 26 patients who have died from COVID-19 complications.
