Bea Alonzo makes and donates face shield to frontliners

6 Apr – Following the footsteps of Judy Ann Santos, Bea Alonzo recently revealed that she has been making her own DIY face shields to be donated to health workers in the Philippines.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress shared her said effort on social media recently by posting several photos of her project - from the process of making the face shields to it being packed for donation.

She wrote, "So, yesterday, we decided to create face shields for the frontliners. Thank you [Cathy Binag] for donating 2,000 raw materials and also for donating 100 gallons of ethyl alcohol."

"It's hump day for I AM HOPE ORG. today because it's our first REPACKING DAY at our head quarters! This is just a small assistance compared to what our brave frontliners do for us! OUR REAL LIFE HEROES," she added.

I AM HOPE is an organisation co-founded by Alonzo with Rina Navarro.
