Bea Alonzo's relief organisation raises P9 million

29 May – Bea Alonzo recently announced that her charity organisation I Am Hope successfully raised P9 million throughout its run during the pandemic.

As reported on Push, the actress shared the good news on social media in a video where she showed off the headquarters of the said fundraising project, saying, "Thank you so much for all your support."

She also introduced some of the people working behind the successful fundraiser, including co-founder and producer Rina Navarro as well as director Vhong Navarro.

Alonzo's fundraiser has benefited many segments of the society since the Luzon lockdown, including the health workers in the frontlines, as well as the poor most affected by the lockdown.

So far, I Am Hope has helped more than 44 hospitals and 36 communities.
