Beauty Hero: Katy Perry Rocks Her Blue Hair at Paris Fashion Week

This week saw Katy Perry take Paris Fashion Week by storm. Not only were we obsessing over her outfits, but her blue hair has Grazia Beauty enthralled. Whether she’s going for full-on glamour, channelling a pin-up or working a sleek pony tail, the songstress knows how to rock the sapphire hair hue. Here’s a look at our favourite of her blue 'dos…

Retro-tastic

Did you order glamour with a rock n roll twist? Katy definitely knows how to serve up the Fifities trend in style! For her Eylure lashes launch in February, she worked a perfect, prim and proper barnet with a high rise beehive and a rolled fringe, amped up by pearly pink lipstick, a form-fitting frock and vintage car to match. Talk about working a look from head to toe!

Sweet American Blueberry Pie

We love Katy’s sweet side (her candy-inspired concert was amazing!) so it’s only fitting that she has a look to match: we give you the blue bob. Not only is it completely on trend with a deep side parting and cute little flick, but with bouncing curls and volume galore, she oozes sophistication a la Jackie O.

Cerulean Chic

Hopping from FROW to Frow, Fashion Week is the perfect platform to debut a variety of styles - and that's exactly what Ms Perry did in Paris. She sported a doughnut-style top bun when she took in the Yves Saint Laurent collection then added electric extensions to create a high Madonna-esque ponytail, which she debuted at the Miu Miu show yesterday, teamed with a cute candy-coloured ensemble.

Royal Blue

Our Princess of Pop sure knows how to create a look fit for the queen. On Saturday, the singer unveiled a bouffant take on a classic up 'do at the Viktor & Rolf show, complete with a cobalt blue jacket, bag and heels. Take that, Marge Simpson! K-Pez really is taking colour blocking to a whole new level - and here at Grazia HQ, we love a girl who knows her best hue.

But what do you make of Katy's cobalt hair? Should she stick to the bright and bold tone or are you itching for her to go back to black? Let us know below...

2015 Nissan Murano aims for the style-forward crowd

Nissan says its 2015 Murano crossover, only the second major revamp of the car since it debuted in 2003, draws its design cues from the “age of future space flight.” That’s probably taking it a little far, but the new Murano, based off the 2013 Resonance concept vehicle, is an exceptionally lovely machine, all fluid, curved metal on the outside, and flowing, soft-touch materials on the inside. Certain kinds of comfort and charms that were unheard-of outside of premium vehicles five years ago have definitely trickled down, and reached a kind of design apotheosis with this car.

Volkswagen brings new (ish) Jetta to New York along with Golf Sportwagen

With its new President and CEO of America, Michael Horn, on stage in New York after just 100 days on the job, Volkswagen debuted its 2015 Jetta. You'd be forgiven for noticing little differences compared to the outgoing model, and in the words of Horn himself, the changes are indeed subtle. The most notable of those subtleties is the all-new 2.0 liter turbo diesel motor, offering 45 mpg highway and a modest increase of 10 hp. For VW, diesel is where it's at.

With Vantage GT, Aston Martin races below $100,000

Aston Martin is going downmarket, sort of. The 2015 Vantage GT, a sport-styled variant of Aston’s legendary flagship car, draws style and performance tips from their GT4 race cars, which will be running in North America this year. It’s also priced at $99,900, which shows that the market for these kinds of consumer sports cars has boomed in recent years.
