Bell expects Australia to come back 'hard if not harder' at Trent Bridge

London , Aug. 3 (ANI): Following the embarrassing loss of Australia in the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston, England batsman Ian Bell said the former needs to come back hard if not harder in the fourth Ashes Test at Trent Bridge. According to the Guardian, the veteran batsman stated that his side would continue to strive like they did in the third Test. Bell, whose position was called into question after he scored low at Lord's seven Tests this year, was later promoted to number three in place of Gary Balance. Australia had earlier suffered from two significant collapses as England wrapped up the third Test by eight wickets inside three days to go 2-1 in the five-match series. The win marked an incredible turnaround for England, who had suffered a humiliating 405-run defeat in the second Test at Lord's. England would now aim to seal the five-match series after taking a 2-1 lead following an eight-wicket win over title holders Australia in Birmingham. The fourth Test will commence from August 6 with the fifth Test on August 20. (ANI)
