Bella Thorne Tearfully Called Out Whoopi Goldberg for Shaming Her Nude Photos

From Cosmopolitan

  • Bella Thorne shared a video of her tearfully responding to The View’s Whoopi Goldberg, who shamed Bella for taking and sharing her nude photos.

  • Bella chose to release her nude photos after a hacker threatened to leak them without her permission.

Earlier this week, some creep hacker threatened to violate Bella Thorne’s privacy and leak her nude photos. Ultimately, Bella decided the best thing to do would be to take her power back and release the photos herself. At the time, she wrote, “F*ck u and the power u think you have over me.” Many applauded Bella for what she did, but The View host Whoopi Goldberg shamed Bella and pretty much blamed her for even taking the photos in the first place, which is so hurtful and rude.

On the show, Whoopi said:

“If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude pictures of yourself. Once you take that picture, it goes into the Cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that.”

Bella ended up catching wind of Whoopi’s comments and responded tearfully with an Instagram video calling Whoopi out for shaming her and making her feel even worse about the situation than she already did. Bella said:

“I’m not gonna lie, I wanna say that I feel pretty disgusting. I feel pretty disgusting, Whoopi, knowing that everyone’s seen my sh*t. And I just want to say that me watching this interview made me feel bad about myself. And I hope you’re happy. I really do. I hope you’re so f*cking happy....You’re so crazy for thinking such terrible things on such an awful situation.”

Bella then added that she was supposed to go on the show for an interview, but she won’t anymore because she doesn’t want “to be beaten down by a bunch of older women” for her body and sexuality.
