Bellator's first bout in Israel, next week in Tel Aviv in front of what figures to be a sold-out crowd in excess of 13,000, couldn't have come at a better time for Noad Lahat. Lahat is an Israeli who the day after a win over Steven Siler in San Jose in 2014, had to hop on a plane, fly home and rejoin the military to take part in a conflict with the Palestinians. Lahat, now 32, was 2-2 in the UFC, though he was never fully healthy.
