Bernice Liu rumoured to be dating French sommelier
1 Apr – Hong Kong actress Bernice Liu has recently been rumoured to be dating wealthy French sommelier, Jean-Charles Cazes.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress who has been studying fine wine cultivation since 2008, reportedly has been acting cosy with the wine expert, who is the manager of the Chateau Lynch-Bages, his family winery based in Bordeaux, France.
The rumours first sparked when Bernice attended a Chateau Lynch-Bages wine banquet in Hong Kong recently and was introduced by the French sommelier to his guests and business partners.
Cazes was later seen accompanying the beautiful actress to the entrance after the banquet ended and gave her a kiss before she left the premises.
However, when asked about it via a telephone interview later on, Bernice stressed that she and Cazes are only good friends and that it was a French custom for a person to give a goodbye kiss to his or her guest.
However, Bernice said that she would not deny any possibility of romance in the future, saying, "Nobody knows what will happen in the future. But right now, I am more focused on my work."
